RT CYCLES AND FISHING is a family run cycle and fishing tackle shop started by Roger Russell back in 1987 , now his son Martin  assists in the day to day running of the shop when he is not out on the trails  along with local mountain biker Stephen Hamilton who works on the hire fleet and anything else bikey!   .We are located in the village of Glengarnock in North Ayrshire and are surrounded by beautiful countryside which is ideal for cycling and fishing. The shop is also  located near to Click for map & info route 7 of the sustrans cycle network.

 Our staff have a real passion and enthusiasm for cycling and fishing and we want our customers to enjoy their hobby as much as we do. So hopefully we can give advice on the product you really require (shame on you supermarkets ).

Our shop is well stocked with bicycle components, and we have around 150 new bicycles on display and further models in storage ready to build. We stock amongst others Haro bmx & mountain bikes, Raleigh , Claud Butler ,Diamondback bmx ,Falcon, Schwinn ,Barracuda and Optima Our range of hybrid and trekking bicycles are very popular, and we offer a good selectionof these bikes. 

Our spares and accessories Come from a wide variety of leading brands and we will strive to be the most competitive on pricing for any item you may be looking for. . We stock a large range of fishing products including live baits, fishing rods, reels and clothing. Permits and information on all local waters. We are also campingaz stockists. We have a range of army style combat clothing stocked, including jackets , trousers , waistcoats and waterproofs. Express CyclesExpress Cycles was started to offer a unique Bicycle hire & repair service in 1998. After having seen the poor services provided by some larger mainstream cycle outlets e.g extended waiting times, over-pricing and the difficulties involved in the transportation of getting broken bikes to and from these outlets we realised we could offer a far better service to the general cyclist.

 Being a family run cycle/ fishing shop in a rural area, we found it to be really beneficial to our customers to have their bike uplifted from their home or workplace, and then have it repaired then delivered back free of charge. You have the option of using our free quality courtesy bikes(subject to availability) to use while we are repairing your own bike.

 The hire service has been operating since 2001 and we now have a large fleet of top spec bicycles to choose from. We pride ourselves on offering the best range of hire cycles at the lowest cost to you. We offer a unique service of delivery and collection throughout scotland. Every weekend(Apr-Oct) and everyday during school summer holidays we are based at clyde muirshiel regional park, at the castle semple activity centre Lochwinnoch, where we offer bike hire, repair service and bicycle spares. Why not give us a visit and hire a bike, then wind down with a nice cuppa in the lovely centre cafe.
