A Bit About The Services We Offer

We have been hiring bicycles for 10 years now and have one of Scotlands premier fleets of cycles avaiable for nationwide delivery . We can deliver bicycles to your hotel, Bed and Breakfast, Caravan site, nearest train station or home. Our services are currently being used throughout the country covering Ayrshire , Renfrewshire , Glasgow the Highlands and Dumfries and Galloway. We can deliver your cycles to one location and pick up from another and transport any unwanted luggage free of charge .

Car bicycle racks (carry 3 cycles ) avaiable to hire £5 per day , £15 per week ,

Bike Hire Centre Locations Bicycles are available to hire from the shop premises in Glengarnock ,this is situated 200m from the railway station and within 500 m of the Sustrans cycle network route 7 , perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside we are situated in , and all on traffic free cycle paths.There is ample free parking at the shop also.



 Our bike hire and repair workshop is located on the shores of Castle Semple Loch,in the village of Lochwinnoch and is ideal for enjoying wonderful water, walks , safe off road cycling and wildlife. Relax by the loch shore or stroll into Parkhill Wood, Castle Semples secret woodland. The 90 acre policy woodland of the Castle Semple Estate includes the 15th century Collegiate Church, the fish ponds and the grotto, where the Semple Clan hold annual gatherings. The Centre, on Sustrans Cycle route 7 Glasgow to Irvine, pdf of map here: , is open all year with a tearoom and gift shop plus Seasonal Boat Hire, and outdoor activity courses such as sailing, kayaking, archery, navigation, mountain biking, multi activity and group taster sessions.

Opening times RT Cycles & Fishing :: 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday , Tuesday , Thursday , Friday and Saturday (closed sunday & wednesday) Castle Semple Bike Hire Workshop :: Winter october 31st / march 1st weekends only (weather permitting) summer hours : Open every weekend 10.00am to 5.00pm and most other days (call to confirm opened) . Cycling is not only healthy exercise but great fun and the perfect way to appreciate the stunning scenery of the area

A great day out for all the family Our locations are exceptional for families with children and the cycle tracks are flat and surfaced with tarmac making it an ideal learning environment for the youngsters. For the more adventurous there are a number of superb off road routes varying from beginner level to more challenging Mountain bike runs climbing to over 1500ft (contact for guided cycles)

Quality cycles Our cycles are replaced every 6 months and serviced after every use to maintain high standards of comfort, safety and performance. We also have baby seats, child buggies, trailerbikes and tandems. Look out for ex-hire bikes for sale at competitive prices

Cycling for the less able We have tandems, trikes and wheelchair cycles available at castle semple visitor centre , these are a fee service so please contact if interested in using these .

Good cyclists code The trails are sometimes busy at peak times with a mixture of cyclists, walkers and horse riders. These wonderful traffic free trails have to be shared so please consider other users at all times. Use your bell or give a warning when approaching others.

Group Hires All types of groups can be catered for, please telephone to check availability , discounts and block booking incentives.

Who are our clients Cycle hire is provided throughout scotland including the 7 staines sites in dumfries and galloway for Youth Groups Church Groups Ventures/ Scouts/ Guides Social/Outdoor Activity Groups YHAs/Hotels/ Guest House Groups Families/Friends Ladies Only Groups Armed Forces Schools and Colleges We can advise you on a range of cycling routes throughout the U.K. You may want to design your own route either on or off road, plan a map reading competition or treasure hunt, or maybe take part in a sponsored ride for your favourite charity. Whatever your requirements, we are happy to help.

Guided Trips We would be happy to organise your ride for you and to provide a Fully Qualified Mountan Bike Leader. This service is great for those who lack the map reading and mechanical skills that would otherwise prevent them from organising a fantastic day cycling. ( Charge applicable please ask for a quote)

One Way Hire Fancy doing a ride but only have time to ride one way? Ask in advance and our driver will collect your hire bikes from a different destination to the delivery. (Extra charges may apply) For the very best cycling experience, we offer a complete package with everything you need included in the hire price. -Helmets (Optional) -Lock -Pump -Innertube -Puncture repair kit -Trail tools -Route advice A small under-saddle bag is also supplied to carry above essentials although a larger rack pack, panniers or ruck-sacs are available by request.

Assistance Also available, Ride leaders, Instructors & Coaches for individuals or group events. (please call for details and charges) It can also be arranged for your group to have a support vehicle for your ride. Booking a bike or organising a ride with us is really straightforward.
